Looking to donate or sell old devices after getting new ones for the holidays? Make sure to clear all of your personal information from the device before giving it up. Even a streaming device like an Amazon Fire TV or Roku Stick could contain personal information like a credit card number or email address.
The best way to remove your data from a device is with a reset to factory settings. This can usually be done from the device’s “System” or “Advanced” settings.
